TREATMENTS THAT YOU DESIGN


We pride ourselves on providing each client with an individual and interpersonal approach. We do not believe in the "one size fits all" approach," meaning that every treatment plan is carefully curated for YOUR specific needs, as well as preferences.


We offer a variety evidence-based treatments, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), EMDR, and Superhero Therapy.

ACT

Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT therapy) is a type of mindful therapy designed to help you stay focused in the present moment and to help you navigate the things you cannot control, while focusing on your core values (what's most important to you). Think of it like a heart compass  for your daily life.

CBT and CPT


Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-oriented type of therapy. It can help manage mental health conditions, such as depression and anxiety, and trauma, such as coping with grief or stress. CBT can also help manage physical health conditions, such as insomnia and chronic pain.


Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is subtype of CBT that was especially designed to treat trauma and PTSD.

EMDR


EMDR is a structured therapy that encourages the client to briefly focus on the trauma memory while simultaneously engaging in a movement, such as an eye movement, tapping, or drumming. 


This type of therapy  is associated with a reduction in the vividness and emotion associated with the trauma memories.


EMDR has been shown to be helpful for treating PTSD, cPTSD, as well as anxiety, depression, OCD, chronic pain, panic attacks, phobias, and other distressing life experiences.

Superhero Therapy


Superhero Therapy (ST) incorporates characters from pop culture such as The Avengers, Justice League, X-Men, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Doctor Who, Sherlock Holmes, and many others.


The goal of ST is to help you to become the hero of your own journey IRL (in real life) by focusing on your sense of purpose.
